Lamond Group have recently been awarded an Electrical Contract for an 80-man camp, with possible expansion up to 280-man, with works to begin early November and be completed prior to Christmas.
Lamond Group have recently completed the complexing of a multi-floor airport terminal building at Wodgina.
Gold Fields Agnew Village
- Design and construct electrical services for entire 800 man camp connected to 3x HV transformer supplies.
- Design lighting for village including Multi-Purpose Sports Court, Carparks and Pathways.
- Supply/install all electrical groundworks, cabling, building complexing and connections, testing and commissioning.
Jerriwah Village Upgrade
- Design and construct of new Sports Oval, Swimming pool and other modular buildings including Gym extension.
- Increase size of existing tavern and new beer garden including new lights, heating for outdoor area.
- Complex and commission new 12 floor office with new mains and earthing from within Nammuldi mine.
Gruyere Village 75 Rm Extension
- Design and construct electrical services for 75-man camp extension, to connect to existing Distribution board.
- Supply/install 3 new Distribution Boards
- Supply/install all electrical groundworks, surface tray work, cabling, connections, testing and commissioning.
- Works completed in 3-week timeframe.
Gold Roads Gruyere Village
- Design and construct electrical services for entire 640-man camp and connect to 6x 400kva Generator power station.
- Design lighting for entire camp including multi-purpose sports courts, cricket court, carparks and walkways.
- Supply/install all electrical groundworks, cabling, building complexing and connections, testing and commissioning.
Sirius Nova Various works
- Conversion of 5 floor building into Training Room including Data outlets and rack unit supplied from Main office.
- Design and installation of onsite laboratory electrical and communication works.
- Various new mains and DBs to non-processing infrastructure and other small projects.
Sirius Nova Village
- Design and construct electrical services for entire 490-man camp and connect to 3x 400kva Generators & HV transformer.
- Design lighting for entire camp including multi-purpose sports courts, carparks and walkways.
- Supply/install all electrical groundworks, cabling, building complexing and connections, testing and commissioning.
Sirius Nova Project
- Design and construction of 200-man camp expansion for construction fly camp.
- Upgrade of central facility buildings to accommodate new manning levels.
- Removal of 200-man camp 4 weeks later, to new camp location.
FMG Solomon Dally Camp
- Remove all inground cabling from Dally camp as buildings were to be relocated to new mine. FMG then decided to make Dally camp operational again to do mine expansion. Lamond Group was engaged to replace damaged or removed wiring, complexing large kitchen, connecting all boards and transformers, test and commission. All work was completed in approx. 10-week period.
Karratha Yarra Housing
- Tube out wiring and Electrical Fit out for 22 New Houses for Yarra personnel in Nickel, Karratha including connection to Supply Authority
- Tube out wiring and Electrical Fit out for 5 New Houses for Government Regional Officer Housing (GROH) in Karratha including connection to Supply Authority.
Mirnukara Maya ERA Village
- Complete electrical installation including in grounds, new main switchboards and DBs, tennis court and complex various buildings in South Hedland
Roy Hill Rail Camps 1&3
- Design and construct 2 x 300man camps and connect to 3x 400kva gensets.
- Design lighting for entire camp including multi-purpose sports court, cark parks and pathways.
- Supply and install all electrical groundworks, cabling, building complexing and connections, testing and commissioning.
Spinifex Hotel Redevelopment
- Disconnection and demolition of existing Spinifex Hotel Grounds
- Electrical works on 48 2-storey units and 20 4man SPQ buildings.
- Electrical works including underground services, cable installations/connections, common area lighting including carpark and pool area, test and commission.
Cherratta Lodge Karratha
- Design and construct electrical services for 100-man accommodation village, commercial laundry and swimming pool.
- Design lighting for entire village including carparks and walkways.
BC Iron & FMG Camp Expansion
- Complete electrical installation including in ground services, new Distribution Board, cabling and connections, testing and commissioning. Design lighting for expansion including carparks and walkways.
Spinifex Tavern Upgrade
- Demolition of existing Spinifex Tavern whilst still operating.
- New Tavern building including electrical switchboards, lighting wiring and installation, general and dedicated power circuits, mechanical services electrical.
- Connection of LV Mains to Supply Authority transformers.
